Talentmark are currently recruiting for a Quality Manager on behalf of a global manufacturer of precision measuring instruments and equipment, on a permanent basis.
Working hours: Monday – Friday 8:30am-5pm.
Location: Andover, Hampshire.
Salary: Competitive depending on skills and experience.
The successful candidate will take on a key leadership role, responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, maintaining management systems, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a positive company culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- QMS Maintenance & Improvement – ISO 9001 and ISO 17025.
- Lead effective audit programmes, conducting root-cause analyses for non-conformities, and driving corrective and preventive actions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer complaints, supplier quality issues, and third-party certification bodies.
- Work closely with Senior Management and external consultants to ensure compliant HR policies and processes.
Skills and Experience:
- Industry experience in Quality Management or Quality Engineering.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills to explain quality requirements clearly to different audiences and influence stakeholders.
- Full driving licence with willingness to travel on occasions.
- ISO 17025:2017 awareness would be desirable.
- Internal or Lead Auditor training would be desirable.
