Talentmark are recruiting for a Laboratory Assistant, to join a massive multinational consumer goods company that manufactures and sells a wide range of well-known household, personal care, and hygiene products at its site located in Newcastle on a contract basis for 8 months. This role is fully site based.
Salary:
£13.30 per hour PAYE
Laboratory Assistant Role:
- Weighing product and making solutions.
- Preparation and testing of formulations, including preparation of products for consumer tests; physical and chemical analysis of formulations/products.
- Performing large or small-scale performance tests following defined test methods.
- General housekeeping and ensuring labs are kept appropriately according to operating procedures.
- Running mechanical equipment and computer-activated test methods.
Your Background:
- Hold a relevant scientific qualification.
- Experience working in a laboratory environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
