Are you an experienced and results-driven project manager with a passion for commercial construction and painting? Our client, a leader in the construction industry, is seeking a Sr. Construction Project Manager to manage high-profile commercial paint projects across the New England territory. This is a fully remote role with the flexibility to travel as needed, offering a unique opportunity to work with top-tier general contractors and contribute to delivering exceptional results on time and within budget. Responsibilities:

• Leverage existing relationships with commercial general contractors to establish connections with key decision-makers and drive project bidding opportunities.
• Position the company as the preferred non-union painting partner for top-performing general contractors in the industry.
• Assess client needs and identify opportunities for bidding and winning projects in open-shop paint and related services.
• Apply consultative and solution-selling skills to manage the sales process, including estimating, bidding, closing, and producing profitable projects.
• Maintain accurate records and interactions using CRM software (ZoHo) for reporting and data management.
• Achieve or exceed sales and bidding targets by acquiring new accounts and expanding relationships within existing accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with general contractors\’ field teams and leadership through site visits and meetings to gather performance feedback and identify improvement opportunities.
• Represent the company professionally in all client and prospect interactions, including job sites, networking events, and meetings.

Must-Have Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of proven experience as a Project Manager, including estimating, winning, and executing commercial construction projects.
• Strong relationships with estimators, project managers, and senior leadership within general contracting firms.
• Self-starter with excellent business development and revenue forecasting skills using CRM tools.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial construction processes and subcontractor work.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Google Suite and related applications.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Creativity and persistence in engaging with C-level stakeholders at target accounts.
• Existing network of trusted subcontractors for commercial painting projects.
• Experience with solution-based sales and consultative selling approaches.
• Previous experience working remotely with a focus on New England-based projects.
• Familiarity with CRM systems, particularly ZoHo preferred
• Auto Allowance: a monthly auto allowance of $500 will be paid out monthly.
• Entertainment Allowance: We require our PM’s to spend time with their customers. With this being the case, we offer a $250 per month entertainment allowance.

• Health Insurance: Company will reimburse 50% of the insurance cost for an individual plan up to $500 per month
• 401K: Company will contribute 3% of total income to the employee\’s 401K
