About You

You\’re an all‑rounder who gets energised by variety.

You might be the sole IT person in your current company (responsible for absolutely everything), or you\’ve built solid 2nd and 3rd line experience in an MSP environment. Either way, you\’re comfortable diving deep into technical problems and emerging with practical solutions.

Your technical toolkit includes:

  • Solid Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting
  • Excellent networking skills – LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi configuration and troubleshooting (DrayTek, Ubiquiti experience is a bonus)
  • VoIP systems management (3CX experience ideal)
  • Experience with Azure, Intune, MDM/MAM
  • Real‑world project delivery – migrations, rollouts, implementations
  • 5+ years hands‑on IT experience (MSP background highly desirable)

What makes you different:

  • You understand the ‘big picture’ and design solutions that account for all variables
  • You\’re confident consulting with clients and explaining technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders
  • You have a genuine interest in Cyber Security (no experience needed – training provided)
  • You\’re ready to take ownership of tickets and projects from start to finish
  • You thrive in a small team environment where collaboration matters

The Role

This isn\’t just another support job. You\’ll be working across four key areas:

  • Technical Support – Act as the escalation point for complex issues, providing accurate advice and efficient resolutions. You\’ll also support the service desk when resources demand it.
  • Projects – Lead and manage IT projects from design to implementation: server replacements, network upgrades, cloud migrations, and system improvements.
  • Consultation – Work as a trusted IT partner to clients, understanding their business needs and recommending solutions that genuinely improve their operations.
  • Cyber Security – Contribute to Cyber Essentials applications and grow into a Cyber Advisor role (full training paid for and certification will be expected as part of your first year).

About My Client

This is a small, ambitious MSP (under 10 staff) in the heart of Coventry serving clients across the West Midlands. They\’re not just another IT support company – they position themselves as genuine IT partners to their clients.

What sets them apart:

  • Implementing ITIL processes for continuous improvement
  • Strong focus on cyber security services and becoming accredited assessors
  • Collaborative, ‘can‑do’ culture with a founder‑led approach
  • Genuine commitment to professional development with funded certifications
  • Modern office facilities with free parking in Coventry city centre

  • Your birthday off as guaranteed annual leave
  • Free eye tests
