SAP SCM APO Consultant-12 Month Contract – Hybrid (1-2 times a month)

Job Description

• Our client is a market leader in IT solutions and services, helping customers manage and optimise their technology infrastructure. The ideal consultant will have strong experience in Transportation Planning and Vehicle Scheduling (TP/VS) to plan and optimise shipments for orders, including sales orders, purchase orders, returns, and stock transport orders. The SAP APO Consultant will also participate in the full life cycle of SAP APO implementations/rollouts, from design and configuration to testing and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Utilise SAP APO modules for network planning and inventory optimisation.
• Conduct requirements workshops, gather requirements, and propose appropriate solutions.
• Analyse demand drops from SNP optimiser logs, identify reasons for unfulfilled demands, and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in the full life cycle of SAP APO implementations/rollouts, from design and configuration to testing and deployment.
• Create and monitor process chains, troubleshoot issues to ensure timely completion of SNP runs.
• Understand CIF application logs and resolve CIF issues related to master data.
• Monitor and report key performance indicators related to supply network planning for improvement and corrective actions.
• Have a basic understanding of project management.

Essential Skills

• Strong experience in Transportation Planning/Vehicle Scheduling (TP/VS).
• Proficiency in SAP APO modules for network planning and inventory optimisation.
• Experience in conducting requirements workshops and proposing solutions.
• Ability to analyse demand drops from SNP optimiser logs and implement corrective actions.
• Experience in the full life cycle of SAP APO implementations/rollouts.
• Skills in creating and monitoring process chains and troubleshooting issues.
• Understanding of CIF application logs and resolving CIF issues.
• Basic understanding of project management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in SAP, logistics, transportation management, supply chain, and SCM.
• Experience in implementing, configuring, testing, deploying, and rolling out SAP APO solutions.
