Overview
The Data Assurance Lead role will lead and manage the assurance structure that allows Data Owners to approve the migration with confidence.
Responsibilities
- Define and manage the data quality approach, data reconciliation strategy, quality rules, tolerances and controls.
- Define and manage appropriate data quality dashboards and reporting.
- Development, socialisation and approval of the Data Quality Application, in line with the Data Quality Approach and GDO requirements and in collaboration with Delivery partners.
- Leading and managing the Data Working Group.
- Provide assurance of data validation and reconciliation activity by delivery partners.
- Support resolution of items on the Data Mapping Backlog as appropriate to ensure alignment to the migration design.
- Input to the work stream plans (High Level, POAP and Detailed) to appropriately represent the data activities and timelines.
- Identify, document and manage appropriate data management related planning assumptions, risks and issues and progress action plans to resolution.
- Assist the development of key migration artefacts including but not limited to 6-month plans and associated RAID, the Migration Approach and Migration Strategy.
- Support of workstream forums (Working Group and RAID forum).
- Assist co-ordination with delivery partners.
- Assist partner stakeholder management and co-ordination.
- Assist migration workstream stakeholder management across Business Readiness, Finance, Proposition, Group Risk, GDO and Service Integration.
- Support resolution of items on the work stream backlogs as appropriate to ensure alignment to the overall program design.
- Support operation of the Quadparty Migration stand ups.
- Support operation of the Migration Daily stand ups.
- Adherence to the AMPS programme governance & control requirements.
- Assist demonstration of appropriate Stage Gate deliverables and management.
- Involvement in Horizon scanning and review and assessment of CRs to reflect migration workstream impacts.
Experience
- Strong data and migration experience.
- Strong stakeholder management skills including 3rd party suppliers and senior business stakeholders.
- Producing risk, control and audit-style evidence.
- Proven track record of holding Data Owners to account.
