Talentia Group is growing in 2025! Founded in 2018, we are a 90-strong and counting recruitment business, across offices in Bristol, Manchester and Leeds. What started as a vision to redefine the perception of the recruitment industry is now a thriving, employee‑owned, award‑winning recruitment agency, on a mission to make all businesses a force for good. We are in the process of rapidly expanding our successful Engineering team into a fully‑fledged STEM division. We’ve already made some amazing progress into the energy, renewables and facilities management industries and we’re looking to not only penetrate further into those but also establish new verticals to drive rapid growth. Our aim is to create a powerhouse recruitment business across Construction, Engineering, Sustainability and Technology.
The Divisional Manager will need to be a strong player‑coach who can hit the ground running with our existing team, and we’d expect them to lead from the front by billing themselves. They’ll report into the Group Strategy Director who will work with them to use data‑led decision making in order to scale the operation quickly and efficiently. Completing this incredibly strong set up will be our recently appointed NED, an extremely well‑respected figure in the Energy & Renewables industry.
In terms of progression and the future, the sky is the limit! You’ll be on a path to run a business within a business, managing managers and representing the Division at all relevant board level discussions. In owning, moulding and driving this crucial Division, the Divisional Manager has an incredibly important and exciting part to play in the future of Talentia Group.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage and Lead a Team: Take charge of a team of consultants, providing mentorship, guidance, and strategic direction to help them achieve their billing goals.
- Drive Growth: Build on the division's existing success and grow the team, contributing directly to our company’s ambitious revenue goals.
- Deliver Results: Use your recruitment expertise to contribute to billing targets, demonstrating your ability to lead by example.
- Build for the future: develop future managers to drive the division forward as it grows and put systems in place which will directly impact long‑term growth.
- Innovate and Add Value: Bring fresh ideas to the table and ensure the Division thrives in a supportive and collaborative environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Recruitment background in at least one of the Construction, Engineering, Energy or Renewables sectors: We’re really looking for someone with a proven track record of success in one of these sectors, either through substantial personal billing or managing recruitment teams.
- Leadership Ambitions: We’re absolutely looking for someone who’s passionate about managing people, building teams, and driving success.
- Player‑Coach Mentality: You’re not afraid to get your hands dirty; you muck in and work with the team in the trenches.
- Big Picture Thinker: That said, you’re also able to see beyond the here and now and think at scale.
- Ambition and Drive: You’re eager to grow your career within a vibrant, fast-paced, and fun environment.
- Values‑Driven Leadership: You align with our mission to make a difference through ethical recruitment practices.
Why Talentia Group?
- We’re a Certified B‑Corp: Being a B‑Corp means we go beyond profit—we’re committed to making a positive impact on our community, the environment, and the people we work with.
- Incredible Incentives: All‑expenses‑paid trips abroad: Think Ibiza in the summer and ski trips in the winter. A vibrant office atmosphere complete with an office dog, bean bags, and ping pong table. Career development opportunities tailored to your ambitions, with rapid progression pathways available.
