Location: Hybrid/Part Remote/Based near Welwyn Garden City, Herts/ London

Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 per annum + Company car or car allowance

Contract: Permanent, Full Time

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

Our client is a well established and highly respected organisation specialising in the delivery and maintenance of security systems for leading businesses. Working with a portfolio of blue chip clients, they have built an excellent reputation for delivering exceptional service and consistently exceeding expectations. Their team is made up of dedicated and collaborative professionals, working together to deliver high quality operational support and technical expertise.

Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Construction Project Manager to join their busy and growing team with their head office being based in Welwyn Garden City, Herts.

Job Role: Our client is looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager who genuinely enjoys the construction environment, thrives around Main Contractors and Principal Contractors, and knows how to lead integrated security packages properly within live, fast-moving projects. You will be commercially aware, operationally organised with strong customer facing skills and experienced in driving programmes, people, and project momentum.

Job Requirements:

  • Has a proven background managing construction based electronic security or integrated systems projects
  • Understands the pace and expectations of enterprise construction environments
  • Is comfortable leading coordination meetings and building relationships with Tier 1 and Main Contractors
  • Understands procurement, variations, programme pressure, labour forecasting, and commercial accountability
  • Can motivate engineers and subcontractors while maintaining standards and delivery focus
  • Is proactive rather than reactive
  • Communicates well under pressure
  • Takes ownership and genuinely cares about delivery quality
