About the Client
Our client is a professional, friendly family based in Wanstead with two young children and a well-behaved family dog. They are seeking a discreet, reliable, and experienced Housekeeper to support the smooth day-to-day running of their home. This part-time contract is offered for up to 8 months and involves a blend of domestic cleaning, light household organisation, occasional cooking, and possible childcare and dog walking support.
Responsibilities
- Daily cleaning and general upkeep of a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom detached property
- Maintain cleanliness in all living areas, bathrooms, and kitchen
- Laundry, ironing, and basic wardrobe management
- Weekly household organisation and tidying
- Monitoring and restocking household supplies and pantry items
- Grocery shopping and running light errands
- Preparing light meals or assisting with occasional cooking
- Ensuring the home is tidy, welcoming, and well-presented at all times
- Occasional dog walking
- Occasional school pickups and light support with the children (aged 11 & 13)
- Flexibility with tasks based on the family\'s weekly needs
Requirements
- Previous experience in private housekeeping, ideally in family homes
