We are a fast-growing global design and manufacturing company based just outside Salisbury, and we are looking for a new Machine Operator & Material Finisher to join our production team. No CNC experience needed - just a great attitude, good hands-on ability, and a willingness to learn.
If you enjoy practical work, operating machinery, and being part of a supportive team, this role could be a brilliant fit.
What you'll be doing:
- Preparing and selecting engineering plastic sheets for production
- Carrying out quality checks throughout the process
- Setting up and operating CNC-controlled flatbed router machines (full training provided)
- Inspecting finished parts for accuracy, colour, thickness and dimensions
- Using handheld routers to apply clean, high-quality finishes
- Supporting your team to keep production running smoothly
- Handling and moving materials of varying weights throughout the day
- Using hand tools such as palm routers, Stanley knives and trimming knives
