Bartender Location: Hours: Fulltime 40 hours per week, including weekends Reporting to: Restaurant Manager The Bartender willbe responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service within Rockliffes flagship restaurant, creating memorable guest experiences through outstanding hospitality, expert product knowledge and exceptional attention to detail. Key responsibilities of the Bartender: Prepare and serve cocktails, wines, beers, spirits, coffees and non-alcoholic beverages to the highest standards. Ensure the bar is fully prepared prior to service, maintaining excellent mise en place and presentation throughout the shift. Process orders, billing and payments accurately using the POS system. Support stock replenishment, stock rotation and the organisation of the bar throughout service. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation across the bar, glassware and beverage displays. Work closely with restaurant colleagues and the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service. Maintain excellent knowledge of wines, cocktails, spirits, beers, coffee and the Rialto beverage offering. Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver exceptional service throughout the restaurant. Communicate effectively with the floor team and kitchen throughout service. Participate fully in training sessions, tastings and menu briefings. Guest Experience & Quality Create memorable dining experiences through engaging conversation and attentive hospitality. Demonstrate excellent knowledge of wines, cocktails, beers, spirits and food pairings. Confidently recommend beverages that complement guests' dining experiences. Ensure the bar and restaurant environment remain clean, organised and welcoming throughout service. Consistently uphold Rockliffe Hall's luxury hospitality standards. Follow all health, safety and food hygiene procedures at all times. Maintain clean, safe and organised bar and service areas. Follow allergen procedures and ensure beverages are prepared safely and accurately. Report hazards, accidents or defective equipment immediately.
