Location: London (primary) - Minimum 2 days per week onsite (ideally 3)

Purpose: Own the solution architecture and detailed design for Oracle Fusion across corporate back-office systems. The role ensures strong adoption of Oracle Fusion out-of-the-box capabilities, maintains architectural integrity, and provides effective challenge and governance of the Systems Integrator (SI).

Reporting & Context:

  • Works alongside an established Enterprise Architect
  • Acts as the hands-on Solution Architect for Oracle Fusion delivery
  • Interfaces extensively with the Systems Integrator (SI) and senior internal stakeholders
  • Contractor or permanent engagement considered

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Architecture & Design: Lead end-to-end solution design for Oracle Fusion, with a primary focus on:
    • HCM
    • HR Helpdesk
    • Payroll
  • Act as design authority across Oracle Fusion modules, ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to architectural standards
  • Translate enterprise architecture principles into executable, detailed solution designs
  • Governance & SI Management: Drive maximum use of Oracle Fusion out-of-the-box functionality and actively prevent unnecessary customisation
  • Challenge SI solution designs, assumptions, and delivery approach where required
  • Provide design governance throughout the delivery lifecycle
  • Transformation & Migration: Support migration from Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) to Oracle Fusion, including:
    • Functional and process alignment
    • Data migration considerations
    • Target-state design validation
  • Business Alignment: Ensure end-to-end business process alignment across corporate back-office functions
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet functional and operational needs

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Essential:
    • Deep, hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion HCM
    • Proven delivery experience across:
      • HR Helpdesk
      • Payroll
    • Strong functional knowledge across multiple Oracle Fusion modules
    • Experience leading or supporting Oracle EBS to Fusion migrations
    • Comfortable operating within SI-led delivery models
    • Strong stakeholder management, design governance, and challenge capability
  • Desirable:
    • Experience working alongside enterprise architecture teams
    • Background in large-scale transformation or multi-module Fusion programmes
