As an IT Support Specialist, you will be a crucial member of our team, providing robust operational support and helping to develop and implement technology solutions across our business. Your focus will be on system support, ERP environments, and contributing to software development initiatives using a variety of technologies. Working within our European Operations, you will deliver fast and effective technical assistance on computer systems, answering queries, and guiding our internal customers to resolve their IT challenges.

What you'll be doing:

  • Continuously contribute to the development of high-quality technological products and solutions.
  • Provide comprehensive application support across a diverse technology landscape.
  • Leverage your knowledge and experience within an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) environment to ensure smooth operations.
  • Utilize your expertise with Microsoft SQL and Oracle databases to support our systems.
  • Apply your problem-solving skills to provide a range of effective software solutions.
  • Actively participate in improvement initiatives and contribute to global projects.
  • Deliver timely and effective technical support to users, including thorough troubleshooting, accurate diagnosis, and efficient resolution of software-related issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and resolve recurring software issues, proactively suggesting improvements to software usage and support processes.
  • Work closely with IT security teams to ensure all software applications adhere to stringent security protocols and requirements.
  • Report directly to the IT Manager.

What you'll bring:

  • Proven experience in developing technology solutions for large and complex business change programs, with a strong focus on system and application support.
  • Solid knowledge and hands-on experience within an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) environment.
  • Demonstrable experience working with Microsoft SQL and Oracle databases.
  • A strong aptitude for finding solutions and providing a range of effective software support.
  • Knowledge and experience with SAP S/4HANA is preferred.
  • Excellent technical knowledge and the ability to understand and diagnose technical issues effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical solutions to non-technical users.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
