Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Senior Backend Engineer to build and scale our Atlas platform. You will spend 80% of your time coding production-grade services that handle real-money transactions and 20% shaping technical design and engineering standards.
The Role
- Build: Develop Java-based microservices and event-driven architectures.
- Scale: Use Docker to containerize and deploy scalable services within an AWS ecosystem.
- Design: Translate architectural visions into working distributed systems with a focus on transaction integrity and audit trails.
- Lead: Raise the bar through code reviews, mentorship, and establishing best practices.
Core Requirements
- Java Mastery: 5+ years of experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Containerization: Proven experience with Docker and containerized microservices.
- Financial Services: Deep understanding of fintech requirements (security, regulatory compliance, and high-stakes data processing).
- Cloud & Infrastructure: Strong AWS experience (Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, EventBridge) and CI/CD automation.
