We are seeking a skilled Azure Engineer to join our team, focusing on the development and implementation of a robust cloud infrastructure for our diverse group of organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Setup: Establish three infrastructure subscriptions with a centralised build agent that is capable of pushing Bicep Azure code.
  • Cloud Hub and Spoke Network: Design and implement a cloud hub and spoke network architecture to facilitate connectivity between multiple organizations.
  • VPN Configuration: Set up a VPN to ensure seamless integration with on-premises systems, recognizing the ongoing need for hybrid solutions.
  • Centralized Cloud Solutions: Develop centralized solutions for firewalls and DNS management within the Azure environment.
  • Data Warehouse Implementation: Utilize Azure Synapse for data warehousing solutions to support analytics and reporting needs.
  • Migration Strategy: Plan and execute the migration of on-premises file servers, SMTP servers, and ERP systems to the Azure cloud environment.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with a global team of over 1,000 members across different locations to ensure alignment and successful implementation of cloud strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Azure Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of Azure services and cloud architecture.
  • Proficiency in Bicep and ARM templates for infrastructure as code.
  • Experience in designing and implementing cloud networks, including VPNs and hybrid solutions.
  • Familiarity with data management solutions, particularly Azure Data Lake and Azure Synapse.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders across multiple organizations.
