Job Title: Treasury Manager

About the Role:

Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in a fast-moving, technology-led bank? We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Treasury Manager to build and manage the Treasury function from the ground up. This is your chance to shape the treasury infrastructure and oversee daily liquidity and funding in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Operations: Monitor and forecast liquidity, capital, cash positions, and IRRBB. Manage real-time liquidity within payment systems (Faster Payments, CHAPS, BACS). Handle interest rate, FX, and liquidity risks.
• Strategic Development: Develop treasury policies, procedures, and controls. Serve as Secretary to the ALCO, manage agendas, and track actions. Contribute to ILAAP development and balance sheet optimization. Manage correspondent banking relationships.

Skills & Experience:

• Proven treasury experience in a regulated bank.
• Knowledge of UK payment schemes (Faster Payments, CHAPS, BACS).
• Familiarity with FX and European payment systems (SEPA Instant, TARGET2) is a plus.
• Understanding of regulatory liquidity requirements (PRA, EBA).
• Strong Excel skills; experience with Power BI or Tableau is beneficial.
• Exposure to AI or machine learning for treasury tasks is an advantage.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive attitude.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Science, or related field.
