We’re hiring an IT Business Reporting Analyst to join a growing retail organisation at a key transformation point. This is an urgent replacement hire and the role offers the chance to take ownership of the reporting and data platform while leading a major modernisation programme — including migrating from a legacy SQL data warehouse to Microsoft Fabric.

What You’ll Be Doing- Lead the migration from a legacy SQL data warehouse to Microsoft Fabric
- Redesign and remodel the data structure and business rules
- Maintain and optimise the current SQL Server + Power BI reporting environment
- Define future data strategy, governance and best practices
- Partner with stakeholders across Retail, Operations and Finance
- Support future advanced analytics/ML initiatives where relevant
- Strong data platform management & reporting experience
- Power BI dashboard development
- Solid SQL skills
- Experience deploying and maintaining reporting solutions
- Interest in building predictive or advanced analytics solutions
- Power BI is essential. Tableau experience is fine if you’re happy to transition. Cloud (AWS/Azure) experience is helpful but not required.
