We are supporting a leading specialist re‑insurance organisation that is delivering a major transformation across its Finance and People technology landscape. As part of this programme, they are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join on an interim basis, with a primary focus on the implementation of Workday PSA alongside Workday Financials. This role sits within a large‑scale SaaS ERP programme and will work closely with senior business stakeholders, programme leadership, and third‑party systems integrators to translate business requirements into robust, scalable Workday solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the elicitation, documentation and validation of functional requirements across the programme, with a strong focus on Workday PSA and Workday Financials.
  • Work closely with Finance, People and PSA functional leads and System Integrator partners to ensure requirements align with Workday methodology and best practice.
  • Own and maintain requirements traceability documentation in collaboration with the PMO.
  • Map current‑state (As‑Is) processes and support the design and documentation of future‑state (To‑Be) processes across PSA and Finance domains.
  • Review and quality‑check Workday workbooks for completeness, consistency and contradiction.
  • Gather business requirements and define process improvements that balance optimal business outcomes with efficient, high‑quality technical delivery.
  • Elicit and document integration requirements, engaging with internal teams and third‑party vendors where required.

Experience & Skills Required

  • Proven experience delivering large‑scale SaaS ERP implementations, with hands‑on Workday PSA and Workday Financials experience.
  • Strong functional knowledge of Workday Financials, including: General Ledger (GL), Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Record‑to‑Report (R2R) and settlements.
  • Experience working across PSA and Finance process integration.
  • Solid experience with integration mapping across complex system landscapes.
  • Strong grounding in formal business analysis techniques, including user story mapping and impact mapping.
