Role Overview

You will work closely with the Head of Finance, Production Managers, and Production Executives to ensure a fully integrated production finance function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing cash flows and producing regular cash flow updates.
  • Assisting with budget preparation and verifying budget integrity.
  • Producing recoverability and profitability analyses.
  • Reviewing cost reports, including costs to complete, and preparing final cost reports for broadcasters.
  • Managing recharging and recoverable processes for productions.
  • Handling production audits.
  • Reconciling cost reports monthly with the accounting system.
  • Collaborating with the production team to understand financial implications of editorial changes.
  • Providing support, training, and backup to the production team as needed.
  • Participating in regular meetings with Production Managers.
  • Managing occasional long hours, tight deadlines, and changing priorities.

Qualifications

  • Substantial experience as a Production Accountant within TV.
  • Ideally, experience managing large budgets.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and an effective communicator.
