Recruitment Consultant | Qualified Finance Specialist | Retail, Consumer, and Consumer Tech

We’re partnering with one of the UK\’s fastest-growing sustainable FMCG start-ups, on a mission to transform personal care with planet-friendly products and bold brand identity.
As they continue to scale across D2C and retail channels, they’re now looking to hire a Management Accountant to bring more structure and insight to finance.
Reporting into the Finance Manager, this is a broad and varied role with real ownership, offering strong development in a brand that’s still just getting started.
What you’ll be doing:
- Take ownership of key month-end processes, including journal postings, balance sheet and P&L reconciliations
- Act as the internal point of escalation for complex AR issues, partnering with external stakeholders and customers
- Drive improvements in finance processes, with a particular focus on receivables
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting throughout the month
- Support audit and compliance activities, as well as ad hoc commercial analysis for the wider business
What we’re looking for:
- Finalist-level ACCA or CIMA, with experience in a fast-paced, product-led business (FMCG ideal)
- Strong understanding of retail operations, AR processes, and multi-stakeholder environments
- Comfortable working in a high-growth environment with shifting priorities and evolving systems
- Strong Excel skills, and ideally experience with Xero and GSuite
- Detail-focused, organised and proactive, with strong communication skills
