We are working with a high growth, innovative technology business that is looking to hire a Part-Qualified Management Accountant, who will join its expanding finance team. This is a perfect fit for someone who is in search of developing commercially and progress within a modern, fast paced environment. The business is growing rapidly and has delivered significant results; now is a great time to be part of a scaling team.
The ideal candidate will be supporting the Financial Controller with month end, forecasting, reporting, and process improvement. You will also play a key role in delivering high quality management information along with supporting business decision making.
Key Responsibilities:- Preparation of monthly management accounts and variance analysis for international entities (US and Singapore).
- Perform balance sheet and revenue reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completion.
- Supporting the preparation of board packs and senior management reporting.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Produce weekly management reports to support decision-making.
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable across the Group (UK, US, Singapore).
- Complete daily bank reconciliations to ensure all accounts are always full.
- Support the development and implementation of finance policies and procedures.
- Assist with year-end audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
- Prepare VAT returns.
- Review developmental expenditure against budget and work closely with departmental heads.
- Ad-hoc analysis and process improvements as required.
- University degree and Past-Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA.
- Experience in a management Accountant or Finance Analyst role.
- Worked in a Finance department of an SME with at least six months experience in management accounts.
- Confident communicator with a commercial mindset.
- Strong Excel and analytical skills.
- A continuous improvement mindset, with a desire to enhance process and ways of working.
- A positive, proactive, and approachable personality.
- Strong organisational skills, with a passion for achieving both the ability to prioritise and manage workstreams effectively.
- A resilient can-do attitude with the drive to take ownership and deliver results.
- Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, high growth start-up or scale-up environment.
