Management Accountant

Location: Hybrid – Based at Head Office – London

Join a fast-growing international consumer brand during an exciting growth phase. We’re looking for a Management Accountant to take ownership of core finance processes and help shape the future of our finance function.

The Role

You’ll be at the heart of the business, partnering with senior leadership to deliver accurate, timely financial insights. This is a hands-on role with real influence—streamlining processes, strengthening controls, and supporting strategic decisions as the brand expands globally.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly management accounts for multiple entities
• Lead balance sheet reconciliations, including prepayments, accruals, and fixed assets
• Manage revenue recognition and invoicing for online sales
• Oversee AP/AR accuracy and resolve escalations
• Drive stock reconciliations and ensure accurate ledger postings
• Maintain fixed asset register and monthly depreciation
• Prepare VAT returns and payroll data
• Support year-end accounts and audit processes
• Mentor and oversee Accounts Assistant
• Continuously improve internal controls and accounting systems

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Economics, or Business
• Part-qualified ACCA or CIMA, committed to completing qualification
• Advanced Excel and ERP knowledge (Sage 50 preferred)
• Skilled in VAT, stock management, and audit processes
• Commercially astute with excellent attention to detail
• Hands-on, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced SME environment
