Are you a Workday expert who enjoys configuring, optimising and owning a global HCM platform? We're partnering with a high growth, international organisation in the technology industry that is investing heavily in its people systems and looking for an experienced Workday HCM Lead to take ownership of its global Workday environment. This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping how HR technology supports the employee lifecycle across multiple countries, working closely with HR, Finance, IT and senior business stakeholders.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead the configuration, optimisation and ongoing support of Workday HCM, ensuring the platform delivers maximum value to the business
  • Own the configuration of key Workday modules including:
    • Core HCM
    • Compensation
    • Absence
    • Recruitment
    • Performance
  • Drive continuous improvements to Workday configuration, workflows and user experience
  • Maintain job architecture including job profiles, job families and management levels
  • Ensure data integrity, governance and reporting accuracy across the platform
  • Partner with HR, Finance and IT to support payroll integrations, workforce planning and business reporting
  • Manage security roles, permissions and system governance

What we're looking for

This role is all about hands on Workday expertise. We're looking for someone who has extensive experience configuring and administering Workday rather than simply using the system.

Essential experience includes:

  • 4+ years of Workday HCM experience
  • Strong hands on Workday HCM configuration experience across multiple modules
  • Proven experience configuring Workday business processes and workflows
  • Experience administering and optimising Workday in a global or multi country environment
  • Strong understanding of Workday security, governance and data integrity
  • Experience with job architecture including job profiles, job families and compensation structures
  • Experience supporting Workday integrations with payroll and other HR systems
  • Strong reporting, analytics and data validation experience within Workday
