This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of digital and physical experiences, designing how a mobile app seamlessly controls and communicates with connected hardware.

The Role:

You’ll join a growing Product Design team and take ownership of the end-to-end experience of connected devices. From setup and onboarding through to real-time interaction and feedback. It’s about crafting intuitive, elegant experiences that bridge the gap between what users do on their phone and what happens in the real world.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Design end-to-end product experiences across mobile that connects to a physical hardware device
  • Shape intuitive setup, pairing, and onboarding flows
  • Create clear, elegant feedback systems (success, failure, latency, edge cases)
  • Work closely with hardware, engineering, and research teams to bring ideas to life
  • Conduct and contribute to hands-on research, including testing with real devices
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and communicate design decisions with clarity and confidence
  • Help raise the bar for UX quality and craft across the team

What We’re Looking For:

We’re after someone who combines strong product thinking with real-world experience designing for connected ecosystems. You should have:

  • Proven experience designing for connected devices / IoT products (e.g. smart home, wearables, consumer electronics)
  • Strong UX fundamentals, especially around flows, states, and edge cases
  • Ability to design for real-world interactions and system feedback
  • Experience working in cross-functional product teams
  • Confidence communicating with senior stakeholders and influencing decisions
  • A portfolio showing end-to-end product thinking, not just UI

Why This Role?:

  • Work on a product where design directly impacts real-world behaviour
  • Tackle complex UX challenges and turn them into simple, delightful experiences
  • Join a fast-growing team with the opportunity to shape design culture and standards
  • Be part of a company moving from niche to mass-market scale
