Iβm partnering exclusively with a highly progressive new TV Production company known for transforming ideas into compelling visual and live experiences. They blend storytelling, content creation, and innovative production expertise to help brands, organisations, and artists connect with audiences in meaningful and memorable ways.
Thanks to a high volume of new commissions, they are looking for a Management Accountant with a background in TV/ Production to take responsibility for the budgeting, forecasting, management accounts as well as specific production finance tasks such as reporting, recoveries & spend etc.
- Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and supporting schedules.
- Maintain and update the monthly P&L, including relevant production and overhead adjustments.
- Review actual performance against budget and forecast, explaining material variances.
- Maintain accurate production actuals across active programmes and projects.
- Incorporate deliveries, reshoots, production fees and other project adjustments into monthly reporting.
- Monitor production overspends and expected recoveries.
- Work with production teams to ensure accounting records agree with current production forecasts.
- Maintain the company forecast and annual budget.
- Coordinate financial inputs from production, staffing and overhead owners.
- Update forecasts for changes in productions, delivery schedules, headcount and other commitments.
- Support longer-term financial planning, including multi-year forecasts.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts in the formats required by investors, commissioners or production partners.
- Prepare actuals, forecasts, budgets and reporting packs for external stakeholders, including production partners.
- Manage reporting timetables and ensure submissions meet contractual deadlines.
CIMA, ACCA or CA Qualified you will ideally have experience in television, film with experience in production budgeting, cost reporting and production-accounting processes. or another project-based creative business.
