Salary: $250/300k (depending on experience) + carry
Talentedge are exclusively partnering with a US registered growth equity fund on a newly created Investment VP opportunity. The fund focuses primarily on B2B SaaS, FinTech & AI investments across UK / US / EU. This is the first dedicated hire for the firm based in the US.
Key responsibilities include:
- Research trends in the market and competitor performance in order to make strategic recommendations and decisions
- Build and maintain a network that includes Founders, CFOs, industry execs and peers
- Lead origination, execution, close and management of investment opportunities
- Prepare Investment Committee memoranda
- Enhance portfolio management
Profile:
- Strong academic background
- Corporate finance experience within a top-tier investment bank or growth equity fund, working on tech investments
- Strategic and inquisitive thinker
- Mathematical and data driven approach with strong financial modelling & presentation skills
- Effective communicator, comfortable working cross-functionally as well as with Founders / CFOs and at events / conferences
- Happy with international travel (frequency TBC)
