Talentedge are working with a growing PE-Backed consumer technology business that is looking to appoint an interim Finance Manager to support its finance function.

This is a hands-on role with a particular focus on delivering a robust month-end close and supporting the business through its audit process. Working closely with the wider finance team, you will take ownership of key reporting and accounting responsibilities while helping maintain strong financial controls.

The Role

  • Take ownership of the month-end close process
  • Produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, P&L analysis and ensure appropriate supporting documentation
  • Support the year-end audit, preparing financial statement and statutory accounts whilst working closely with external auditors
  • Prepare audit schedules and respond to audit queries
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity across the general ledger
  • Maintain and improve financial controls and processes
  • Work closely with the wider finance team and key stakeholders across the business
  • Support ad hoc finance projects as required

About You

  • Qualified accountant – ACA/CAANZ/CA
  • 1-2 years + PQE with industry experience
  • Strong month-end and management accounting experience
  • Previous experience supporting or managing a year-end audit
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail
  • Able to work effectively within a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Experience within consumer, technology, digital or another high-growth business would be advantageous
