This is a newly created senior role within a fast growing D2C brand that’s scaling rapidly and building the foundations of a high-performing finance function. As Head of Finance, you’ll sit at the centre of the business, owning core financial operations while partnering closely with leadership to support growth, decision-making, and efficiency. This is a broad, hands-on role that blends technical finance, operational leadership, and commercial partnership.
Responsibilities:
- Leading monthly global P&L reporting and analysis
- Owning month-end close, including journals, accruals, and reconciliations
- Driving budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
- Acting as the key contact for audits and compliance
- Monitoring cost control and margin performance
- Improving financial controls, processes, and reporting standards
- Supporting ad-hoc analysis and strategic projects
- Mentoring outsourced resources and junior staff
About You:
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (2–5 years PQE/experience)
- Experience managing multiple legal entities (UK & US), including reporting and taxation
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in ERP systems, Xero, and Google Workspace
- Hands-on, can-do attitude with SME/high-growth experience
- Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent communicator and natural business partner
Bonus: Fundraising experience in UK or US investment market
