This is a brilliant opportunity for a hands-on Finance Manager to join a high-growth consumer business at an exciting stage of its journey. You will work closely with the leadership team and take ownership across core finance, reporting, controls and commercial insight. This would suit someone coming from an FMCG, drinks, retail, hospitality or consumer brand background who enjoys working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Owning month-end reporting, management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Preparing weekly and monthly performance reporting across sales, margin, stock and cash
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cashflow planning
  • Partnering with commercial and operations teams across retail, wholesale, hospitality and D2C channels
  • Providing insight on gross margin, pricing, promotions, stock, COGS and working capital
  • Improving finance processes, controls and reporting as the business scales
  • Supporting year-end, audit, tax and statutory reporting requirements
  • Working closely with senior leadership to turn financial data into clear, actionable insight
The Candidate

ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified / finalist
Experience in FMCG is a must
Comfortable owning management accounts, reporting, forecasting and cashflow
Commercially sharp, with strong understanding of margin, stock and working capital
Confident business partnering with non-finance stakeholders
Hands-on, proactive and happy operating in a scaling SME environment
Strong on Excel and finance systems, with the ability to improve reporting and processes
