The Role
You’ll sit at the heart of the finance function, driving accuracy, insight and control across global operations. This is a hands-on role with real influence - own reporting, guide decision making and help build processes for a high growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead monthly global P&L reporting with precision and clarity.
- Own month-end close activities, including journals, accruals and reconciliations.
- Deliver sharp financial analysis and commentary on performance vs. budget.
- Act as the key contact for audits, managing external relationships and compliance.
- Partner with senior leadership to provide actionable financial insight.
- Drive budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning aligned with strategy.
- Monitor cost control and margin performance, identifying improvement opportunities.
- Strengthen financial controls and reporting standards across the business.
- Support ad-hoc analysis and strategic projects for the Head of Finance.
About You
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (2–5 years PQE).
- Proven experience managing multi-entity reporting (UK & US preferred) within an SME environment.
- Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience (Xero, Google Workspace).
- Shopify experience is a great bonus.
- Scale-up mindset with a hands-on, can-do attitude.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy under pressure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
