The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the founders, you'll lead the finance function end to end, taking ownership of both core finance operations and commercial finance. You'll be a key member of the leadership team, providing the insight, analysis and strategic guidance needed to support continued expansion. This is a highly visible role where you'll have genuine influence over business performance, investment decisions and long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end finance function, ensuring robust financial reporting and controls
- Own the monthly management accounts, budgeting and forecasting processes
- Deliver commercial insight through KPI reporting and financial analysis
- Partner with the founders and senior leadership team on strategic decision-making
- Lead the FP&A function, supporting business planning and revenue growth
- Oversee cash flow, working capital and inventory management
- Develop financial models to support investment, pricing and growth initiatives
- Build scalable finance processes, systems and controls as the business grows
- Manage external relationships, including auditors, banks and advisers
- Lead and develop the finance team as the business continues to scale
About You
We're looking for an ambitious finance leader who thrives in entrepreneurial, high-growth environments. You'll ideally have:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification
- Experience within a consumer subscription business
- Strong understanding of inventory accounting and operational finance
- Previous experience within a high-growth SME or start-up
- A proven track record of combining financial control with commercial finance and FP&A
- Strong business partnering skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- A hands-on approach and the ability to operate strategically while remaining close to the detail
