You will be tasked with increasing the strength and commerciality of insights provided to the Board and Investors in order to drive forward business decision making.
Key responsibilities:- Own the day-to-day finance function, including developing and mentoring an ambitious and progressive finance team
- Build out & improve on existing budgeting, forecasting and planning across all business functions
- Take the lead on analysing and reporting on financial and non-financial metrics and KPIs
- Own future funding rounds
- Become a trusted senior figurehead within the business whose inputs, insights and recommendations are truly respected, actioned and implemented
- Partner Founder / COO / Board and Investors, as well as cross-functionally, with a particular focus on Product
- Take the lead on business case preparation and review
- Big 4 qualified
- High growth, FCA regulated FinTech scaleup experience
- Highly effective business partner with extensive internal and external senior stakeholder management (including working directly with Product function). Able to advise, challenge and influence
- Commercial / Strategic operator with a technical accounting background / understanding earlier in their career
- Highly proficient with business intelligence and data visualisation tools.
