We are seeking an energetic, ambitious Interim FP&A Director to elevate and lead our FP&A function during a period of rapid expansion and strategic transformation. This is a 6‑month contract (Hybrid, London / 2–3 Days On‑Site) reporting directly to the CFO.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and enhance rolling forecasts and scenario planning (base, upside, downside).
- Drive annual and mid‑year planning cycles, aligning GTM capacity, product roadmap and hiring plans with commercial targets.
- Partner with RevOps and FP&A teams to strengthen bookings and ARR forecasting, pipeline‑to‑revenue conversion, pricing and discounting discipline.
- Expand cohort analytics for retention and expansion (NRR, GDR, churn drivers).
- Contribute to monthly KPI packs, board reporting, and exec dashboards.
- Establish variance analysis routines and partner with functional leads on corrective actions.
- Act as a strategic thought partner to the CFO and Executive Team.
- Mentor the FP&A team, improving processes, tooling, data flows and systems maturity.
- Lead financial workstreams for due diligence, preparing responses and supporting Q&A.
- Help define and roll out dashboards for real‑time strategic decision‑making.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Extensive experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, or Commercial Finance within fast‑paced scale‑up environments.
- Deep understanding of SaaS metrics, subscription economics and GTM modelling.
- Exceptional communication skills able to simplify complexity for senior non‑finance stakeholders.
- Comfortable operating hands‑on while influencing at Exec and Board level.
