Commercial Finance & AI Pricing Strategy Director – Technology & Platforms

Help shape the commercial future of a global technology-enabled business.

I'm partnering with a global market leader that is redefining how technology, automation, AI and digital platforms transform the delivery of services to some of the world's most recognised brands.

This is a rare opportunity for a finance professional with specific knowledge in architecting a pricing overhaul to support the transition to AI and building 0-to-1 GTM/pricing playbooks.

You'll have the opportunity to

  • Influence the commercial direction of cutting-edge technology and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Work on some of the most complex global client opportunities in the market.
  • Partner directly with senior executives across Finance, Product and Technology.
  • Shape commercial strategy rather than simply report on it.
  • Join a collaborative, internationally recognised organisation investing heavily in innovation and future growth.

As investment in technology accelerates, they're looking to appoint a commercially astute finance leader to own the commercial strategy behind their global technology and platform proposition.

Essentially, they require a senior commercial lead, expert in pricing AI and data products from the ground up, not adapted typical Saa S pricing.

This isn't a traditional commercial finance or pricing strategy role.

You'll sit at the intersection of Finance, Technology, Product and Commercial leadership, helping shape how innovative solutions are priced, structured, governed and scaled across international markets.

If you're passionate about technology, commercial strategy, building AI pricing models and solving complex business challenges, this is an opportunity to influence decisions at the highest level.

The Opportunity

From Saa S platforms and AI-enabled solutions to managed services and automation, you'll design the commercial frameworks that underpin global client relationships and future investment.

You'll lead the commercial and financial strategy for technology-led propositions, including:

  • Developing innovative commercial models for Saa S, platform and digital service offerings.
  • Leading the financial design of complex, multi-market strategic client opportunities and global RFPs.
  • Partnering with Product and Technology leaders to shape AI pricing strategies, investment decisions and go-to-market plans.
  • Building commercial frameworks that support scalable, profitable international growth.
  • Defining financial governance, KPIs and performance frameworks across global technology programmes.
  • Working closely with Legal to structure commercial agreements, manage risk and support long-term client partnerships.
  • Acting as the trusted commercial adviser to senior stakeholders across Finance, Technology, Operations and Client Leadership.

About You

You'll be an experienced commercial finance leader who combines strategic thinking with the ability to roll your sleeves up and solve complex commercial challenges.

You'll likely bring

  • Significant senior commercial finance experience within technology, Saa S, digital platforms, consulting or marketing services - primarily technology-enabled services.
  • A proven track record of structuring large, complex commercial deals and global client proposals.
  • Strong understanding of Saa S economics, platform pricing, licensing models and recurring revenue structures.
  • Exceptional commercial modelling and advanced Excel capability.
  • Experience partnering with Product, Technology and Legal teams to develop commercially robust solutions.
  • Outstanding stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence executive leadership across a complex global organisation.
  • Intellectual curiosity and genuine enthusiasm for technology, AI and innovation.
