This is a newly created senior role within a fast growing D2C brand that’s scaling rapidly and building the foundations of a high-performing finance function. The Role — Head of Finance, you’ll sit at the centre of the business, owning core financial operations while partnering closely with leadership to support growth, decision-making, and efficiency. This is a broad, hands-on role that blends technical finance, operational leadership, and commercial partnership.

Responsibilities

  • Leading monthly global P&L reporting and analysis
  • Owning month-end close, including journals, accruals, and reconciliations
  • Driving budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
  • Acting as the key contact for audits and compliance
  • Monitoring cost control and margin performance
  • Improving financial controls, processes, and reporting standards
  • Supporting ad-hoc analysis and strategic projects
  • Mentoring outsourced resources and junior staff

About You:

  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (2–5 years PQE/experience).
  • Experience managing multiple legal entities (UK & US), including reporting and taxation
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in ERP systems, Xero, and Google Workspace
  • Hands-on, can-do attitude with SME/high-growth experience
  • Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent communicator and natural business partner

Bonus: Fundraising experience in UK or US investment market
