The Role
As Head of Finance, you’ll sit at the centre of the business, owning core financial operations while partnering closely with leadership to support growth, decision‑making, and efficiency. This is a broad, hands on role that blends technical finance, operational leadership, and commercial partnership.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading monthly global P&L reporting and analysis.
- Owning month‑end close, including journals, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Driving budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning.
- Acting as the key contact for audits and compliance.
- Monitoring cost control and margin performance.
- Improving financial controls, processes, and reporting standards.
- Supporting ad‑hoc analysis and strategic projects.
- Mentoring outsourced resources and junior staff.
About You
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (2–5 years PQE).
- Experience managing multiple legal entities (UK & US), including reporting and taxation.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in ERP systems, Xero, and Google Workspace.
- Hands‑on, can‑do attitude with SME/high‑growth experience.
- Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communicator and natural business partner.
- Bonus: Fundraising experience in UK or US investment markets.
