Are you a hands‑on, commercially minded finance leader who thrives in fast‑moving, global environments? This is a rare opportunity to step into a Group Financial Controller role at the heart of one of the world’s most exciting creator and digital media businesses.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the CFO, you’ll be the go‑to expert for financial reporting, compliance, and performance insight. Your remit covers five international entities, managing multi‑currency consolidations, group reporting, and statutory compliance while also embedding scalable financial systems and processes that support a business in high growth mode.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own end‑to‑end group reporting, consolidation, and monthly financial statements across five global entities.
  • Deliver accurate and timely P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements with clear commentary on performance, currency impact, and variances.
  • Lead the annual audit and statutory reporting, ensuring full compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, and local regulations.
  • Manage tax and compliance matters across multiple jurisdictions (including VAT, transfer pricing, and withholding tax).
  • Oversee cash flow forecasting and working capital planning, identifying opportunities to improve liquidity.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
  • Champion process improvement, internal control development, and system optimisation to support global scalability.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with 5+ years’ experience in group financial control and consolidation.
  • Experience managing multi‑entity, multi‑currency reporting ideally in a media, digital, or fast‑paced global business.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS / UK GAAP, with proven audit and statutory reporting experience.
  • Excellent working knowledge of tax compliance, transfer pricing, and cross‑border accounting.
  • Skilled communicator who can turn numbers into insights and influence non‑finance stakeholders.
  • Confident using Excel/Google Sheets, GL systems, and familiar with tools like HubSpot CRM.
