As Financial Controller, you will be a senior leader in the finance team, reporting directly to the CFO. You’ll take ownership of governance, controls, and reporting, while acting as a trusted partner to senior leadership and managing key external relationships with banks, auditors, and investors.
Immediate or short notice availability is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop finance teams across AP, AR, reporting, and management accounts
- Deliver consolidated accounts, cash flow management, and monthly Board reporting
- Strengthen governance, controls, and compliance across the group
- Drive systems improvements, with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Oversee tax, VAT, and external stakeholder relationships
- Support strategic decision-making, budgets, and forecasting
About You
- ACA (preferred), ACCA, or CIMA qualified with 5+ years PQE
- Background in multi-site retail, hospitality, or FMCG
- Strong technical knowledge, ideally starting in audit
- Skilled in Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central and advanced Excel
- Proven experience leading teams and building strong stakeholder relationships
- Available to start immediately or on short notice
