Recruitment Consultant | Qualified Finance Specialist | Retail, Consumer, and Consumer Tech

Known for fresh, innovative products and ambitious expansion plans, this business is at the forefront of the healthy eating movement.

As Financial Controller, you will be a senior leader in the finance team, reporting directly to the CFO. You’ll take ownership of governance, controls, and reporting, while acting as a trusted partner to senior leadership and managing key external relationships with banks, auditors, and investors.

Immediate or short notice availability is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop finance teams across AP, AR, reporting, and management accounts
  • Deliver consolidated accounts, cash flow management, and monthly Board reporting
  • Strengthen governance, controls, and compliance across the group
  • Drive systems improvements, with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Oversee tax, VAT, and external stakeholder relationships
  • Support strategic decision-making, budgets, and forecasting

About You

  • ACA (preferred), ACCA, or CIMA qualified with 5+ years PQE
  • Background in multi-site retail, hospitality, or FMCG
  • Strong technical knowledge, ideally starting in audit
  • Skilled in Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central and advanced Excel
  • Proven experience leading teams and building strong stakeholder relationships
  • Available to start immediately or on short notice
