Financial Controller – FMCG startup

Hybrid working – West Sussex office (3 days) + WFH

£60/75k (depending on experience) + options

Talentedge are proud to be partnering with an early stage, rapid scale omnichannel FMCG startup on their first dedicated mid-senior finance hire.

As Finance Manager / Controller, you’ll work in close partnership with an extremely passionate Founding team as well as Fractional CFO on scaling the business internationally.

You’ll be amazing for this role if you are a data focused and commercially savvy accountant, have a love for startups and want to work for a mission-driven business who are truly making a difference.

Key responsibilities:

• In house, design and roll out key scalable processes, controls and systems, utilising technology to automate
• Own monthly management and annual statutory reporting
• Support Fractional CFO on strategic, commercial and financial objectives for the business
• Own reconciliation process across all revenue streams (B2B, Amazon, D2C, Manufacturing)
• Business partner cross-functionally, in particular with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Distribution and GTM teams
• Analyse and track all KPI’s
• Build financial models to support business decision making
• Support the ongoing development of a great Finance Assistant

Profile:

• Qualified accountant
• Experience of working within a high growth FMCG / eCommerce / manufacturing startup
• NetSuite experience is an absolute must
• Confident business partnering cross-functionally
• Automation focussed mindset
• Happy rolling your sleeves up & getting your hands dirty
