The Finance Systems Manager manages a small team responsible for the day to day running of Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning. The role reports to the Head of Finance Transformation and is responsible for the administration, maintenance and optimization of the Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning systems. The role works closely with IT to ensure the system meets business requirements and operates smoothly.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning in a well-controlled and documented system environment
- Lead the Finance Systems team, motivating team members and encouraging them to learn and develop through their work
- Provide technical assistance for core financial processes
- Build and maintain excellent working relationships with key members of the Finance team and other global stakeholders
- Hold regular meetings with key stakeholders
- Stay on top of Workday updates
- Advise on system enhancements when appropriate for both Finance and the Business
- Run pilots for new functionality/system changes utilizing Finance team members for key roles in the pilots
- Optimise processes to achieve measurable outcomes
