We're partnering with a fast-growing workplace provider to find a
Data & Systems Manager who will take ownership of the company's data platforms, business systems and AI strategy.
This is a broad, hands-on role that combines data governance, systems management, automation and vendor management.
Reporting to the Finance Director, you'll work across Finance, Operations, Commercial and Leadership teams to ensure the organisation has reliable data, well-integrated systems and the right technology to support continued growth.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving business problems through technology and wants to play a key role in modernising systems, improving reporting and driving AI adoption.
The Opportunity
The business is currently undergoing a significant transformation programme, including the implementation of a new data platform and finance systems.
You'll be instrumental in helping simplify a technology landscape that has evolved over several years, ensuring systems are connected, data is accurate and teams have the tools they need to make informed decisions.
While you'll manage relationships with external technology providers, this is a hands-on position.
You'll be expected to understand how systems work together, troubleshoot issues, improve processes and identify opportunities to automate manual tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the relationship with the organisation's data platform provider, ensuring service levels are met and the platform continues to deliver business value.
- Monitor data quality, reporting accuracy and platform performance across multiple integrated systems.
- Work with Finance, Operations and Commercial teams to develop meaningful dashboards and self-service reporting.
- Drive data governance, documentation and access controls across business systems.
- Lead the development of the company's AI framework, identifying practical opportunities to automate processes and improve efficiency.
- Evaluate and introduce new AI tools while supporting colleagues with adoption and best practice.
- Oversee the wider business systems landscape, including CRM, workspace management, finance and cloud platforms.
- Manage systems integrations, user access, software licences and technology vendors.
- Ensure systems remain secure, well documented and compliant with GDPR.
About You
You’ll be someone who enjoys working across both technology and the business, balancing strategic thinking with hands‑on problem solving.
We’re looking for someone with
- Experience managing business systems or third‑party data platforms.
- Strong vendor management and stakeholder management skills.
- Good working knowledge of SQL, ETL processes and data infrastructure.
- Experience improving reporting, data quality and business intelligence.
- Hands‑on experience using AI tools and workflow automation.
- The ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.
- A collaborative approach and the confidence to work across multiple departments.
Experience with any specific platforms isn’t essential.
What’s more important is your ability to understand complex systems, build strong supplier relationships and continuously improve the way technology supports the business .
What’s on Offer?
- Salary from
£65,000-£72,000.
- Annual bonus.
- Hybrid working (currently three days per week, moving towards four).
- Significant ownership and autonomy.
- The opportunity to shape the organisation's approach to data, systems and AI during an exciting period of transformation.
- A collaborative, ambitious environment where you’ll have genuine influence over technology decisions.
If you’re looking for a role where you can combine data, systems, AI and business improvement in a growing organisation, we’d love to hear from you.
