Client Finance / WIP Biller

We are working with a globally recognised marketing and localization agency to find a WIP Biller who thrives in fast-paced, creative environments — and knows how to keep numbers in line while campaigns take flight.

Responsibilities

Own the billing lifecycle — from accruals and deferrals to month-end close
Reconcile project costs and revenue with precision and insight
Maintain accurate WIP accounts and ensure clean financial reporting
Partner with Production and Client Services to keep budgets and estimates up to date in Paprika
Be the go-to for client billing queries, resolving issues with confidence and clarity
Track revenue recognition and cost alignment alongside Project Managers

Billing & Invoicing

Generate timely, contract-aligned invoices with zero surprises
Set up clients and jobs from the finance side with accuracy
Chase payments proactively and manage aged debt
Provide weekly billing updates to the Financial Controller
Monitor client portals and respond to queries professionally
Train internal teams on finance workflows and best practices
Spot potential issues early and offer practical solutions
Keep finance aligned with creative teams to support smooth delivery

Qualifications

3+ years’ experience in billing, finance ops, or project accounting — ideally in marketing, advertising, or production
Strong grasp of WIP, reconciliations, accruals, deferrals, and revenue processes
Hands-on experience with Paprika (or similar systems like Maconomy)
Advanced Excel skills — pivot tables and VLOOKUPs are second nature
Confidence working with internal teams and external clients
