You'll play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, commercial decision-making and driving process improvements across the finance function.

If you're looking for a role that combines commercial finance, operational business partnering and project finance in a fast-paced, evolving environment, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

As Finance Business Partner, you will act as the primary finance contact for your designated business areas, providing meaningful financial insight and helping stakeholders make informed decisions.

You will support the full financial lifecycle of projects and events, from planning and budgeting through to delivery, financial close and performance analysis.

  • Maintain accurate rolling forecasts and work-in-progress reporting
  • Analyse variances against budget and forecast, providing clear commentary
  • Support wider business planning and reforecasting activities
  • Ensure financial plans remain aligned with operational delivery

Project & Event Finance

  • Maintain financial oversight throughout the lifecycle of projects and events
  • Partner with delivery and production teams to track committed and anticipated costs
  • Lead post-project financial reconciliations and performance reviews
  • Ensure costs are accurately captured, allocated and reported
  • Drive timely project and event closure activities
  • Support procure-to-pay processes and financial governance
  • Review purchasing requests and expenditure approvals
  • Work closely with Accounts Payable and Finance teams to resolve invoice and coding issues
  • Monitor commitments against approved budgets
  • Strengthen financial controls and reporting accuracy

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and reporting
  • Support the implementation of finance systems and technology enhancements
  • Improve data quality, automation and operational efficiency
  • Contribute to scalable finance processes that support future growth

About You

We're looking for a finance professional who combines strong technical ability with excellent stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience within Commercial Finance, FP&A, Management Accounting or Finance Business Partnering
  • Previous experience supporting budgets, forecasts and financial performance management
  • A professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent), or be actively studying towards one
  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
  • The confidence to influence and challenge stakeholders positively
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach
  • Experience within events, entertainment, media, gaming, production or project-based environments would be advantageous but is not essential
  • Exposure to ERP systems, procurement platforms or reporting tools would be beneficial

What's On Offer?

  • Opportunity to join a high-growth international organisation
  • Exposure to senior stakeholders and commercially impactful projects
  • Hybrid and flexible working environment
  • Ongoing professional development and career progression opportunities
