Senior Hardware Engineer (3 month FTC - paternity cover) London (twice a month in London HQ)
Talentedge Tech are working exclusively with a very interesting London based Consumer Tech business. We're looking for extra hands on deck in the form of a Senior Hardware Engineer to help with some business critical HW releases.
This is a hands-on, high-impact 3-month contract focused on supporting the final development and launch of new products.
You won’t be owning a full product area, instead, you’ll act as a highly capable “force multiplier” across the team, picking up well-defined technical problems and driving them through to completion. Think: less long-term roadmap, more “what needs solving right now to ship great hardware?”
- Investigate and resolve issues discovered during testing and manufacturing
- Assist with compliance and certification-related engineering tasks
- Strong fundamentals in electronics and hardware design
- Practical lab skills (e.g. scopes, power supplies, soldering, bring-up/debug)
- Consumer electronics experience
- Audio, wireless, or power system exposure
Remote-first, but the HW team meet in London roughly twice a month. Flexible, pragmatic, and focused on outcomes. Enjoy hands-on engineering over process and meetings.
Salary: ~ÂŁ70,000 pro rata (3-month FTC)
Duration: 3 months (fixed term)
