Transactional Finance Manager | Luxury Restaurant Group | Central London | Hybrid | £60,000–£65,000 + Benefits

I’m partnering with a privately owned, high-end restaurant group based in Central London who are looking to appoint a Transactional Finance Manager on a permanent basis. This is a key role within their mid-sized finance team, offering both day-to-day responsibility and the opportunity to shape future processes.

Please note this role is 4 days in the office in Oxford Circus and 1 day from home.

The Role

As Transactional Finance Manager, you will take full ownership of the transactional finance function, leading and developing a team while driving improvements across AP and AR. This is a hands-on role, balancing operational oversight with strategic input.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of 4 Accounts Payable Clerks and 2 Accounts Receivable Clerks.
• Oversee invoice processing, payment runs, and billing procedures, enhancing processes where needed.
• Lead month-end activities including balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate reconciliation of supplier, debtor, and bank accounts.
• Drive process improvements, streamline procedures, and champion automation/AI adoption.
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, including leading negotiations.

About You

• Work experience within hospitality, retail or restaurants will only be considered
• Proven track record managing AP and/or AR teams.
• Experience implementing financial automation and process improvements.
