Talentedge is seeking an exceptional AP Lead for a scaling tech company with a global reach.
The role is fully remote with the opportunity to work with a high-quality finance team and support the inspirational Founder and Leadership team on their ambitious growth plans.
In addition to leading the key AP duties in an exciting growth phase, the job holder will support automation initiatives to focus on the value-added aspects of the role.
Top-quality individuals with proven AP skills, including process improvement and automation, in a high-growth business (tech sector highly desirable) with strong communication and influencing skills, are urged to apply.
This opportunity is suited to AP professionals with 5+ years of experience who thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, working with smart and ambitious colleagues. The role is initially a standalone position, representing a true \’end-to-end\’ AP remit.
There is a London HQ and various European hubs; it is preferred that the successful candidate is based in Europe.
Responsibilities
- Review and process 200+ monthly expense reports from employees, identifying discrepancies
- Schedule and prepare payments in line with vendor terms and internal timelines
- Maintain AP aging report and monitor outstanding payables
- Support month-end close activities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for accounts payable inquiries internally and externally
- Foster collaborative relationships with vendors
- Partner with engineers to automate processes, focusing on \’value-add\’ duties
Qualifications
- Bachelor\’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Strong understanding of General Ledger systems and Accounts Payable processing
- Excellent communication and influencing skills to collaborate with senior management and peers
- Detail-oriented and proactive
- Proficient in Netsuite and Ramp
