We're partnering with a venture-backed AI company scaling rapidly across international markets. With strong revenue growth, significant investor backing, and an ambitious leadership team, they're now looking for a commercially-minded finance professional to join the business at a pivotal stage of growth.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a second-time mover from practice (typically ACA/ACCA qualified with 1-2 years' PQE) who has already gained experience within a high-growth technology or startup environment and is looking for a broader, more impactful role.
You'll work directly with senior leadership across virtually every area of finance, helping build the infrastructure required to scale from startup to category leader.
The Opportunity
This is far more than a traditional finance role.
You'll have exposure across:
- Day-to-day finance operations and financial controls
- Monthly management accounts preparation and analysis
- Budgeting, forecasting and FP&A
- Cash flow management and working capital forecasting
- Board and investor reporting
- Business partnering with operational leaders
- Financial modelling and commercial analysis
- Finance systems implementation and optimisation
- Process automation and AI-enabled finance workflows
- Supporting fundraising, due diligence and strategic projects
As the company continues to scale, you'll play a key role in shaping the finance function and creating best-in-class processes from the ground up.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
- Trained within a leading accountancy practice
- 1-2 years' post-qualified experiencePrior move into industry, ideally within a technology, SaaS, AI or venture-backed business
- Strong management accounting experience
- Commercial mindset with excellent analytical skills
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilities
- Ambition to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Highly Desirable
- Experience in a high-growth startup or scale-up
- Exposure to FP&A and strategic finance
- Experience improving finance systems and reporting processesFamiliarity with modern finance tech stacks
- Interest in automation, AI and data-driven decision making
