Head of Finance (#1) – B2B SaaS startup

Talentedge are pleased to have been retained by a London Founded, global B2B SaaS scaleup on their #1 in finance opportunity.
Already the global category leader within their field, the business continue to go from strength to strength, having expanded into the US, Asia and Europe and are on track for consecutive 5x revenue growth years.
As Head of Finance (#1 role), you will have complete ownership of the entire finance function, spanning financial control, FP&A and commercial finance, investor relations and team management.
You’ll be amazing for this role if you have a high passion for technology, love startups and are on a fast-track career trajectory. Key responsibilities to include:
- Continue to evolve and take ownership for the finance infrastructure, ensuring all processes and controls are scalable
- Own board reporting including consolidated monthly management accounts with analysis and commentaries as well as commercial pack
- Statutory reporting and tax work
- Partner C-Suite on commercial initiatives, including future fundraising and geographical expansion
- Lead on KPI work, including analysing metrics such as ARR/MRR/CHURN/CAC/LTV/ACV etc
- Utilise Xero & its’ wider ecosystem of apps & tools to automate transactional finance
- Develop and mentor an A* finance team
Profile:
- Qualified accountant with a strong academic background
- B2B SaaS scaleup (20m ARR+) experience with international operations (specifically US)
- Analytical, mathematical and data driven in approach, with advanced Excel skills. Ability to use data analytics tools would be an advantage
- Effective communicator, comfortable working with teams across the business.
- Ambitious, driven and detail oriented. Someone who can be trusted to deliver
