Our client is a fast‐growing fintech in the global payments and trade space, focused on improving financial access in emerging markets. Backed by leading investors, they are scaling quickly and hiring an Analytics Engineer to take ownership of their data function. This is a high‐impact, cross‐functional role working closely with Finance, Product, Engineering, and leadership teams.

You will design and maintain scalable data models and pipelines, enabling accurate reporting and insights across the business. You'll also act as a key partner to stakeholders, translating data into clear, actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain data models and pipelines
  • Ensure data quality through testing, monitoring, and best practices (e.g., dbt)
  • Define and document key business and financial KPIs
  • Develop dashboards and reporting for various stakeholders
  • Support strategic decision‐making with clear data insights
  • Promote data best practices across the business
Candidate Profile
  • 5–7+ years in analytics engineering or data roles
  • Expert SQL and strong data modelling experience
  • Experience with BI tools and dashboarding
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Comfortable working in fast‐paced, cross‐functional environments
Desirable
  • Startup or high‐growth experience
  • Experience with financial/product metrics (revenue, retention, LTV)
  • Python or other programming languages
  • Product‐focused mindset
  • Additional languages (French particularly would be highly advantageous but not a necessity)
