Recruitment Director | Finance into Technology – UK & US

VP Finance – Payments

Hybrid working – WFH + City (3 days)

£140/150k (depending on experience) + share options

Talentedge are exclusively partnering with a high‑growth Payments scaleup who have doubled their headcount and revenues this time last year. Based right on the edge of The City and within a very short walking distance to Shoreditch, location couldn’t be better!

You’ll be fantastic for this role if you are seeking a commercial yet technical finance role whereby you’ll have total autonomy to support this rapidly scaling business. Key responsibilities to include:

• Continue to evolve and automate financial processes and controls to support this rapidly scaling business
• Deliver the monthly board pack including consolidated management accounts and KPI reporting
• Produce investor and other stakeholder reporting packs
• Track and analyse KPIs / metrics
• Support CFO on M&A and fundraising activities
• Oversee the day to day finance function, including monthly and annual reporting
• Develop, mentor and in time grow the finance function further

Profile:

• Qualified accountant with rapid‑scale payments experience (essential)
• Experienced with building best‑in‑class finance functions, including people/systems/processes
• BI and data tools skillset
• Strong people management skills, including advising, challenging and influencing stakeholders (CEO/Founder, Board)
• International expansion exposure is beneficial (US ideally)
